Automobile throttle mainly consists of throttle body, throttle shaft, throttle motor, throttle position sensor and other components.
1. Throttle Body: Throttle body is the main part of the throttle, it is a round metal piece with a round hole in the center for air to pass through. The upper and lower ends of the throttle body are connected to the throttle shaft and throttle position sensor respectively.
PEAK THROTTLE SHAFT: The throttle shaft is a metal rod that connects the throttle body to the throttle motor. When the throttle motor works, it will drive the throttle shaft to rotate, thus changing the opening of the throttle body.
3. Throttle motor: The throttle motor is an electric motor that drives the throttle shaft to rotate, and its main function is to control the opening of the throttle according to the driver's operation. Throttle motor is usually a stepper motor or DC motor.
4. Throttle Position Sensor: Throttle position sensor is a sensor used to detect the opening of the throttle, its main role is to pass the throttle opening signal to the engine control unit (ECU), so that the ECU adjusts the engine's fuel injection and ignition time according to this signal.
